Ray Padron After a 32 year career in the insurance industry in the areas of Risk Management and Loss Control, Ray decided to pursue some of his other passions, including real estate and photography. Today he is an Associate Broker with Prudential Connecticut Realty working as a team with his wife Claire, and in his spare time he is a Free Lance Photographer. Ray has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the City College of New York and holds the designation of Certified Safety Professional (Retired). He moved with his family to Simsbury in 1979 as part of a relocation to the Home Office of Aetna Life and Casualty and has been in love with this town and the Farmington Valley ever since. He is a member of the Simsbury Camera Club and a volunteer photographer for the Simsbury Land Trust, the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, the Simsbury Main Street Association, and other non-profit groups within the town. In 2009 Ray published a photographic book titled: "SIMSBURY - A New England Jewel". It summarizes through 92 beautiful photographs the character, charm, history, architecture and other features that make the town such a wonderful place where to live and work. Stephen Emirzian - steve.emirzian@farmingtonvalleyfilm.org Steve Emirzian has been a freelance photographer for 15 years. Mr. Emirzian’s photos have been used on various artistic projects including the Warnertheatre.org Web site for musicals, Whoopi Goldberg and children’s author Mary Pope Osborne, just to name a few. Mr. Emirzian also works as a “behind-the-scenes” photographer on numerous films and commercial productions. |

Sheila Conlin Sheila Conlin is the owner and creator of Thinkithroo® LLC, a children’s education and entertainment company where multi-dimensional adventures and excursions empower children to explore the possibilities in themselves and life. Sheila received the Connecticut Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Education, was a special invitee to the National Academy of Science in Washington D.C. as a member of the Mathematics Assessment Subcommittee for the National Research Council, National Science Foundation and Exxon Mobil Foundation, and was one of the lead writers resulting in a National Presidential Elementary School Excellence Award. She is also recognized in Who’s Who in American Education. |

Katie has been interested in photography since she first laid hands on a camera. She took classes on traditional dark room photography in high school and then went on to study photography as part of the Five College Consortium at both Hampshire College and Smith College in Western Mass.
